| Mrs Sew and So was established in 1992 as a result of many years work in a renovated barn in regional Victoria. Born from a love of good design, inspired colours and passionate stitching, Mrs Sew and So creates products that enable you to easily achieve fantastic artistry. These products are wholly Australian designed, made and produced in a country barn. This barn has, over the years, held numerous craft classes, workshops and private stitching. Built over 120 years ago, it originally housed a shearing shed, sheep pens and a large hay loft. Today, it has been lovingly restored and converted into a purpose built studio. With views over the surrounding hills, where one can watch the sun dance across the paddocks, it is hard not to be inspired. The enormous creativity and energy generated in this sanctuary has resulted in a unique range of products. The natural light and materials of the barn, in fact the sandstone was quarried on the property, are reflected in the embroidery. The colours range from earthy ochres to bright pinks incorporating unique designs which reflect the simplicity of rural life. As the barn continues to inspire new design, we hope our products will continue to inspire you. |
